Welcome to the CCS Counseling Center!  

As the school counselor for all students in grades 6-12, I work with both students and parents in academic and career planning.  In addition, I assist students with managing social/emotional issues they face as teens.



The Counseling Center may assist students and parents with:

Clarkson University's PROJECT CHALLENGE

Clarkson University offers academic "Challenges" to North Country High School students through Saturday morning enrichment courses during the months of January and February. Class run from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, January 17, January 24, January 31, February 7, February 14 and a snow date of February 21. Project Challenge provides area 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students an opportunity to participate in classes they cannot normally find at their high school. Registration Deadline: January 9, 2015.

WORKFORCE 2020 - Thursday, December 11th
On Thursday, December 11th, we will be taking all seniors to Jefferson Community College for a career and interview skills awareness event entitled Workforce 2020. Whether the senior is furthering his/her education, entering the military, or entering the workforce next year, this will be a very useful event. Permission slips are due in the Counseling Center by Monday, December 8th.
SAT TEST DATE: January 24!!
The registration DEADLINE for the January 24th SAT Test is Monday, December 29th (LACS, Watertown).
You can register online or visit the Counseling Center for an application packet.

December 9th - Army National Guard to visit CCS (11:15-Noon)

December 11th - Workforce 2020 at JCC for all Seniors
January 13th - ASVAB test given to all Juniors
January 29th - Financial Aid Night (6:30-8:00pm – Band Room)
April 30th - YAC Variety Show (6:00-7:30pm)
ACT TEST DATES: April 18th!!
